Students will learn fundamental information about Hawaii. Students will use observational skills and ability to concentrate on instructions to create an accurate rendering of a shaka hand sign. Students will learn about the meaning of the shaka hand sign. Students will learn basic terminology about lines and shapes in the process of drawing a shaka.
I have 22 years of experience teaching art to students at the middle school and elementary levels, including but not limited to, art history, drawing, painting, printmaking, mural-making, and ceramics.
