In this 4 week course, students will learn basic French based on the Manitoba Early Start French K-3 Curriculum
Class Experience
Students will be taught Canadian K-3 level basic French. Topics covered will include greetings, colours, days of the weeks, months of the year, weather, food, animals, and basic sentences. Our class will begin with the students presenting their homework from the previous class, which will include approximately 4 sentences using the material learned in the previous class. Homework Offered
A small assignment will be assigned at the end of each class, due at the beginning of next class, and will incorporate the material learned in the previous class by answering simple questions. Assignments will not be longer than 4 sentences. Students will complete the project individually but are welcome to work as a group if they prefer. Homework will not take longer than 30 minutes.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

A pencil and paper/notebook will be helpful but are not required. Work sheets may be sent out the week prior if they will be used in class, but are also not required.
