In this 8 week FLEX class, beginner level French students learn 1 song per week using visuals, short sentences & practice games to reinforce the new vocabulary. In an "immersion-like" way, kids will being speaking through song lyrics.
Class Experience
In this 8 week FLEX class, learners will explore a new song each week! We know that using songs is a wonderful way to immersion yourself in a language and many of us were taught nursery rhymes and short songs when learning our first language! Through an easy immersion, leaners will understand the song lyrics in context and begin to use the expressions, structures and new vocabulary easily! Students will begin to identify the following structures and vocabulary for beginner level French: Body parts, adjectives, clothing, animals, ordinal numbers, family members, foods, prepositions, the verbs "to be" and "to have".
M.A in French, over 20 years teaching experience. This class is based off a popular (running for over 3 years) weekly video and vocab class.
Homework Offered
Kids can have the option to practice new vocabulary and structures at home using Quizizz, Quizlet and the Google slide show provided.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
