You'll need a laptop to be able to work with Sketchup ( PC & Mac ) plus either PowerPoint ( PC/Mac ) or Keynote ( Mac only ) to pull together presentations. Students can use other software to present, but it must be able to export in Pdf format, so I can review and send back constructive feedback.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
None, just be aware that this course is semi-advanced and not recommended for students under the age of 12 due to higher levels of observation and conceptual thinking.
Look on YouTube for introductions to Sketchup, this will give you some idea of the software we will be using, to a simple basic standard to help us visualize spaces.
