I am certified in grades K-12 Special Education and I have been training in the use of American Sign Language (ASL) in college classes, to communicate with deaf students and young children with speech delays. I use sign language to communicate with students in my classroom. I am a language acquisition specialist and have studied language acquisition methodology at the graduate level.
