In this 5-week course learners will have an introduction on learning about hair texture in simple context, washing, plus blow drying and different ways to style hair. Mini cosmetology addition.

Class Experience

In this course I will teach learners the introduction to the cosmetology world. I will cover 6 topics. Topics that will be covered are the different types of hair texture/ the hair's basic needs, the correct way to shampoo and condition hair, how to blow dry, following fun braiding techniques and hair styles. My class structure has 2 main phases. The first phase is classroom learning, this phase will be all about the introduction to hair and how to maintain healthy hair. The second phase will...

Students will learn the basic skills on how to maintain hair. Including hair texture, washing, styling and some fun braiding techniques.
1st week- Introduction / Hair Texture 
~Mannequin will be needed for the rest of week 2-5~
2nd week- Hair parts / Sectioning 
3rd week- Washing hair / Blow drying
4th week- Hair Braiding 
5th week- Hair Styling

Materials that will be needed are as followed. 
Mannequin Head (Human hair recommended for blow drying and styling)
4 Hair clips
20 Rubber bands 
1 Rat tail comb 
 Shampoo and Conditioner
Blow dryer 
Paddle brush
Dry towel
2 big bowls (For hair washing)
1 Mannequin head stand

Children's safety is my #1 priority, parent or guardian must be in attendance when your child is using the hair dryer for safety precautions. Tools that will be needed will be used for the benefit of the child to get a hands-on experience on how to maintain and have fun by learning about hair. 
Materials can be purchased online or at your local hair store of your choice.

Materials can be purchased at your local hair stores or by purchasing them online, all you have to do is type in the material names that have been provided. 
When shopping for the materials it is your choice on where to buy the products, just a reminder please understand that a mannequin head with human hair is recommended.
