As an experienced educator with a passion for supporting neurodivergent learners, I bring over a decade of tutoring expertise to this 1-1 tutoring class. My journey began at the age of fourteen, and since then, I've continually honed my skills. As a trained and award-winning peer tutor in a federally funded TRIO Program, I assisted college students in various subjects, including GRE Test preparation. For the past four years, I've dedicated myself to online teaching, having tutored over 200 students and garnered more than 500 five-star reviews from parents. My educational background includes studying education and human development at East Tennessee State University. Additionally, I completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program at Vanderbilt University, making history as the first undergraduate student and self-advocate selected for this prestigious course. Being autistic and having ADHD myself, I specialize in creating an inclusive and enriching learning environment tailored specifically for 2e (twice-exceptional) learners. I firmly believe in making content accessible and engaging, catering to the unique strengths and learning styles of each individual. I'm dedicated to providing advanced expertise in supporting neurodivergent students aged 10-16. This includes a deep understanding of their needs, employing strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, and fostering an environment that celebrates neurodiversity.
