In this math flex course, I will be teaching the main foundational math skills, topics, and strategies for 3rd grade.

This condensed flex class is a great fit for students who are wanting to gain more knowledge, understanding, and strengthen their foundational math skills. Each week on Tuesday and Thursday, I will post four instructional videos based on the weekly topic as well as an assignment on each day. Every two weeks I will post an optional assessment based on the previous weekly topics in place of one of the optional assignments so the students can apply what they have learned. Students will strengthen, practice, and learn foundational math skills to be successful in 3rd grade and in preparation for 4th grade.
I have been in the classroom setting for four years teaching grade 2nd-5th teaching all subjects consisting of: math, reading, history, science, spelling, and grammar. I also have masters course work in elementary education.
Homework Offered
Optional classwork will be posted each week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
An optional assessment will be posted every 2 weeks and at the end of the course. I will informally assess your students with questions etc and I will provide you a weekly report by your request.Grades Offered
